Dumbest Gun Control Argument EVER: Self Defense is BAD Because It Denies Due Process Rights To DEAD CRIMINALS?

The Scary Thing Is: THIS GUY IS SERIOUS!

In a bizarre world where ‘Good Guys and Bad Guys’ are suppose to be a thing of the past there seems to be some confusion. Where the aggressor who is doing the damage was once stopped, arrested, run out of town or killed, the tables seem to have turned.

Now, in an effort to be politically correct, the aggressor is exalted and protected from reprisal as their actions must somehow be justified, while the victim is seen as an unfortunate but probably deserving casualty to be swept under the table.

The gun control crowd obviously gets caught up the an internal emotional entanglement that keeps them from seeing the practical logic of the issue, but one writer at the Huffington Post has taken his gun control compulsion to a new level of insanity probably not seen before.

Justin Curmi who blogs for Huffington Post appears to believe Communism is a good idea. His stance on self-defense and the 2nd Amendment is also not only outrageous but clearly lacks any logic, reasoning, or care for human beings, including his own family members.

As Curmi wrote for the Huffington Post:

The main problem with the notion of self-defense is it imposes on justice, for everyone has the right for a fair trial. Therefore, using a firearm to defend oneself is not legal because if the attacker is killed, he or she is devoid of his or her rights.”

Get that? Yes, it’s really as absurd as it sounds. If a person is being mugged, robbed, raped, beat or murdered, they should not use a gun on the assailant because guns can be deadly and should the assailant die, they would obviously be denied their due-process rights. Seriously?

As the federalistpapers reports:

Curmi is basically saying that his mother, grandmother, wife, girlfriend, sister, aunt or daughter should just allow themselves to be brutally raped rather than to dare defend themselves because their violent attackers deserve justice.

And yes, he’s serious. It’s one of the most stupid and more disgusting anti-2nd Amendment statements ever written, and that’s saying a lot because gun control addicts write a lot of stupid things.

Justice for the victims doesn’t matter as long as they don’t dare defend themselves. Of course, criminals would still get guns because that’s how they roll, but law-abiding citizens shouldn’t be allowed to use them in this guy’s warped mind.

Self-defense is a fundamental human right, it’s not just a right protected in the Bill of Rights, which Curmi wants to change. It is a basic function of humanity that you have the right to protect yourself. It is not a right that is handed over by the government.

What’s seriously most outrageous about Curmi’s statements is that he really believes women shouldn’t be able to protect themselves. Women should let themselves be victims because pajama boys such as him don’t believe in using firearms for self-defense.

How in the hell is a woman who is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds supposed to protect herself from a criminal who is 6’4” and 250 pounds? A firearm is an equalizer for people AGAINST criminals, especially for women. The 2ndAmendment has done more for women’s equality than feminism could ever even hope to do.

Clearly this guy needs a mental health intervention, because anyone who believes that justice is served by ALLOWING a criminal to COMMIT a CRIME against someone without that person defending themselves is mentally defective.”
