Thousands Of Perfectly Sane Americans Lost Their Second Amendment Rights
In yet another twisted version of the truth, the left is screaming “Trump Legalizes Guns For The Mentally Ill.” The reality is that the Obama administration ruling that was reversed took away Second Amendment rights from many American citizens based on a possible ‘disability’ which may have nothing at all to do with mental health or the ability to safely and effectively manage a gun.
Most Democrats Thought That Was Just Fine
The Senate voted 57-43 to repeal the rule set by the Obama Administration that requires federal agencies to provide mental health information from disability insurance recipients for gun background checks.
As the chart shows, every Nay vote was from a Democrat, but four Democrats did have the moxy to vote Yea.
