Honestly, it gets tougher each week to find the best part of any individual show. They’re all good. I know I’m a biased critic but nonetheless, it’s tough. Pouring over the last week of Armed American Radio shows, this week I have to settle on the Sunday March 26th “Monstercast,” hour one. My guests were Alan Gottlieb followed by Olympian, Top Shot competitor, actor and trainer, Gabby Franco.
I’ll start with Alan. He was amazing as usual. For reasons of scheduling and accommodating my entire lineup for the evening show, I was limited to only two segments with Mr. Gottlieb forcing me to move quickly. Mission accomplished! Alan and I have been doing this together for a while, needless to say this is not our first rodeo on air so we did exactly what we needed to do. We moved swiftly through a wide range of topics including Delta Airlines new baggage policy for travelers with firearms to the latest court case information and everything else we could cram into the half-hour. I know you’ll enjoy it.
The second half of that hour saw Gabby Franco’s first appearance and we had a blast! Gabby is a class act and the real deal. An amazing young woman who is swiftly becoming an ambassador for the millions of women getting involved in not only their own self-defense but the shooting sports and at all levels of competition. Her bio certainly gives her the credentials to offer decisive commentary on the subject matter and her vibrant personality is engaging and infectious, In fact, so much so, that I put her on the spot on live radio and asked her to co-host a full three hour show with me from Dallas on April 9th. She agreed and as it stands, she’ll be joining me in the Dallas Network Salem Radio HQ in a few days for the entire three hours of on air commentary.
As I mentioned, it’s always difficult to pick any certain guest or specific hour from 6 days of live radio programming but I think this was a good one. How can it not be when the lineup includes Alan Gottlieb and first time guest, competitor, trainer, author and Olympian, Gabby Franco?
