The media icon for the conservative movement apparently failed to harness proper restraint in dealing with female co-workers, and now the major news network which markets a reasonable spin in broadcasting content, is about to enter the wilds of another epic scandal.
While Bill O’Reilly was banished to the realm of podcasts and digital after a damaging salvo of allegations, according to NPR, Cashin’ In host Eric Bolling has his head and his you know what shackled to the guillotine of public scrutiny and is on the pathway to possible termination after allegedly sexting lewd images to co-workers at the network’s studios. In true Anthony Weiner bizarre style dripping with sex crazed juvenile-type shenanigans, at least three woman claim that they received pictures of Bolling’s genitalia. Two immediate questions require clarification. Were the crotch shots unsolicited and what chemicals are lurking in the drinking water at Fox News? To his defense, in certain demographics he was merely sending a proper greeting.
If the egregious teenage mentality acts of Bolling are true, the indiscretions only complicate massive efforts to moderate the policies and ideology of a nation on the brink of a cultural meltdown. With President Trump’s tainted perception as a questionable gentleman, poor decision making mechanisms by media figureheads, only stockpiles the ammunition of countercultural movements and leftists in prolonged screaming orchestras of unmitigated and insane hate.
With the epidemic of fake news permeating through newsroom and the classic definition of journalism now obsolete, the struggle is on for the average viewer to locate a credible source of fair and accurate information amid the seemingly limitless and unsubstantiated noise. When fiction that parallels truth reaches the apex of trusted sources, we are in real trouble.
