The young men of the Diamond Dawgs baseball club out of New York decided to weather a tedious rain delay through innovation and imagination by staging a “deer hunt” of selected teammates. Regardless of the criteria for the “deer” or the specifications for which bats qualified as official “rifles”, this team earns a gold star for overall creativity and combining two of the greatest outdoor activities on the planet.
