One day after Americans celebrated their independence, many are waking up wondering if the proverbial “Fix” is in for Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, who will fly today with President Barack Obama on Air Force One to campaign in North Carolina.
Arkansas Online notes this morning that Clinton or surrogates were “making the rounds on the Sunday morning talk shows” to “assure voters of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s trustworthiness.”
According to a Rasmussen survey published last week, the former First Lady and Secretary of State has a credibility problem with 49 percent of likely U.S. voters who “believe Clinton lied to the families of those killed in Benghazi when she told them the deaths were the result of an inflammatory anti-Muslim video on YouTube.”
Rasmussen also revealed that 51 percent of voters “believe the circumstances surrounding the murder of the U.S. ambassador and three other U.S. Embassy employees in Libya will hurt Clinton’s bid for the presidency.”
Yet, after finally sitting down wit the FBI on Saturday, just days after former President Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac for a controversial off-the-record chat, people are wondering whether Hillary Clinton is going to walk away from the email scandal, and waltz to the nomination later this month in Philadelphia.
