Bombastic and polarizing Breitbart blogumnist Milo Yiannopoulos was just the active agent needed in the vortex of blue-Seattle in counteracting the complacent and grating whiny demonstrations of anti-Trump drama queens in the aftermath of the nation’s power transfer.
The 30-something star of the new internet did not disappoint as legions of students and protesters prevented the sold out event from reaching capacity on the University of Washington campus. While detractors resorted to base human tactics reserved for homonid species of past geologic eras in the form of throwing bricks, paint, fireworks and other sundries at police officers, and hundreds of hopeful attendees were prevented from hearing Yiannopoulos speak.
The acts of egregious acts of depravity and disruption reached a threshold of chaos that a man shot another man according to KIRO-TV. Why the shooter was carrying a firearm onto campus is the question the day. Police are still investigating the incident, after the shooter turned himself into authorities. Mayor of Seattle Ed Murray had the audacity to call for more “peaceful” protests (no such thing exists) and failed to acknowledge the disruption and violence perpetuated by demonstrators on the UW campus. Murray is known for his lenient stance on public demonstrations turned violent, drug use and the homeless, as the City of Seattle has implemented tax-funded programs such as drug treatment over arrest options for illegal substance abusers and the construction of parking lots complete with portable toilets for those choosing to live in their cars.
The anti-Trump social network contingency is as sure to blame the shooting on the gun lobby as Cleveland Browns are on proclaiming their team annual Super Bowl contenders despite a dubious legacy of mediocrity.
