Ensconced within the hypocritical construct at the jaded core of the leftist movement is the rigid intolerance of considering any differing viewpoint, regardless of facts or reason. In certain instances, pundits will even cross the threshold of scientific proof, to maintain ideological dominance.
As a testament to the liberalization of the tech world, ABC News reports that a Google employee, who authored a politically charged memo, questioning the over-diversification of the corporation, was promptly terminated for sharing their perspective. The decision of ABC News to include “controversial” within the title of the article, in referring to the opinions of the employee, is just the tip of the iceberg in this haunting narrative.
As the culture of the private business world does not embrace First Amendment rights, nor should it, the company’s CEO issued a statement that the employee was in direct violation of company policy and thus justifiably fired.
Included within the memo were statements questioning the hiring policy at Google, and challenging the notion that the pervading “left leaning” environment at the company is intolerant of “conservative” individuals.
The firing comes in the wake of a brutal calendar year for search engines and social networking sites, as the prevalence of “fake news” has been unveiled, as well as the intentional omission and burying of “conservative” content.
While Google can freely choose to implement policy in managing staff, the reaction and consequences of this incident is just another indication of how freedom of speech is being deliberately and painfully socially engineered into obscurity. Unfortunately, the existence of globalism within the tech world, leaves no chance for a balancing of political ideologies within the context of software and hardware development. Long live Oregon Trail.
