In the wake of the Las Vegas tragedy, the indiscretions from leftists continue to pile up like unwanted National Football League paraphernalia tossed onto a rancid trash heap. At some point during the nation’s healing process, the world’s most dubious social network just had to make a deplorable political statements through its precious sets of algorithms. It was not a matter of if, but when.
Sure enough, just under a week from the shooting rampage claimed the lives of 58 victims and injured countless others at a country music festival in Las Vegas, an ugly political retort was articulated in a subtle and brutal fashion, and rocked the digital realm of profiles and friends. Even beleaguered CEO Mark Zuckerberg is somewhere behind the walls of his Maui empire and should be cringing. Though the reality is not likely, we can only hope that somewhere through his multiple pallets housing of billions of dollars, he realizes that the creation of an online utopia, is a far cry from the trials and tribulations of every day life which his users face in spending their hard earned money on access points through devices and computers.
Breitbart.com reports that multiple efforts by country singer Dustin Collins to advertise his pro- Second Amendment song were met with a harsh and complete denial by the moderators at the online community. Collins was not simply attempting to post his composition on his wall, but rather give his work a “boost” and reach out to a broader audience. “Boosting” costs the account user money and is a marketing tool used by many to increase publicity and traffic.
Apparently, the advertising system did not accept submissions by Collins of his song “From My Dead Hands”, because the language in his “boost” did not comply to community standards. In other words, this is just another concrete example of how F#$*book deliberately suppresses conservative content and blatantly promotes anti- First Amendment ideology that is threatening our nation, heritage, and freedoms.
As certain leftists in days after the shooting sprinted across the invisible line of decency in their aggressive dialogue towards generalizing and demonizing country music fans, the audacity of the giant social network to limit Dillon is a double whammy of that consists of incorrigible and unpatriotic excrement. In the wild wild west of the internet, a paying customer can now basically be denied a service for absolutely no reasonable or logical means, and freedom of expression is no longer a guarantee.
At Liberty Park Press, we steadfastly uphold the First Amendment and Second Amendment, and are thrilled to provide our own “boost” to Mr. Collins and his passionate song celebrating the liberties of our great nation. Please reach out to family and friends and share his work.
