And what better platform to geek out with all the fun aspects of science, than the infamous Rubik’s cube, which has perplexed and entertained millions as the ultimate timeless puzzle.
Speaking of time, a pair of DIY enthusiasts were able to take the efficiency in solving the popular enigma to the next level and rigged a cube with a robot interface and cutting-edge motor technology. The result, in the time it takes a major league 92 mph fastball to reach home plate, the puzzle was solved. Poof- done! The breathtaking results were filmed on an array of cameras.
The speedy pair of innovators claim that their puzzle solving mechanism can achieve faster times with some minor adjustments, but setting the standard is good for now.
