It pays to have a rich uncle, but one has to be smart. Anyone possessing a lick of common sense would never complete a car sale involving a briefcase full of cash in a hotel, as the scenario never seems to end well in real life or the movies. Cue the nephew of Alex Rodriguez.
Check the box next to underwhelming, in reference to Arod’s nephew, as apparently he was at the vortex of a botched car deal, that included a Lamborghini, the fringe mafia, sleek track suits, and millions of questions, in a story which does not add up. Ironically, Arod is set to star in an offshoot of the classic sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie”, as the new age need for speed hipster astronaut in “I Dream of Lamborghinis”.
MSN.com shares the stumbling and bumbling narrative of the stagnant foliage of the Rodriguez family tree in an epic failure to flip a luxury automobile with a colleague, resulting in what is being labeled as a “kidnapping”. When it was all said and done, the two almost buyers of the car, held Arod’s nephew and partner in crime, temporarily against their will and at some point broadcast a ransom note. The incident ended peacefully as the crooks inexplicably walked the pair back into the lobby of the hotel, which was swarming with NYPD detectives.
The nephew of the major league baseball hall of fame member is apparently chasing the dream to land in the big leagues, and he will not have to grow up and get a real job, if he ever figures out the nuances of person to person sales, that does not quickly degrade to the sorted plot of a grade b movie. Chalk this one up to the cruel reality of Darwinism.
