Impeached For What?
During a Michigan rally on Saturday President Donald Trump warned that Republicans need to keep control of the House or he could be impeached by Democrats.

“We have to keep the House because if we listen to Maxine Waters, she’s going around saying, ‘We will impeach him, We will impeach him,’”

On Saturday, just as Trump was speaking at the rally, Waters once again called for his impeachment. She said she felt Democrats were making a mistake by not making impeachment a cornerstone of this year’s midterm elections.
“Because I tell you, everywhere I go, people are talking about, ‘Why can’t you all get rid of him? Why don’t they impeach him? What’s wrong with the other members of Congress? Why don’t they stand up with you? This man is dishonorable. He lies all the time. He’s a con man,’” she said during an interview on MSNBC.
“Whether I am on the airplane, I’m walking down the street in New York, wherever I am, I’m hearing it,” Waters continued. “And I’m told that 70 percent of women who have been polled say that they want him impeached.”
President Trump on Sunday morning praised the “enthusiasm, knowledge, and love” he was shown during the Michigan rally, tweeting that he would be visiting the state again soon.
“Great evening last night in Washington, Michigan. The enthusiasm, knowledge and love in that room was unreal,” he wrote on Twitter. “To the many thousands of people who couldn’t get in, I cherish you….and will be back!”
