Residents of Seattle have reached a tipping point as the city government has officially crossed the line in implementing a head tax on larger businesses to support the cottage industry of the homeless epidemic.
The situation has become so grotesque, that tourists can expect a complete interface with mangy panhandlers, and families in neighborhoods face the indelible stain of the car camping lazy rent dodging vagrant shacking up in the token rusty van on a quiet and peaceful street.
In the wake of Friday’s circus grade theatrics of an implied closing ceremony for the corporate Amazon headquarters in South Lake Union, the disgust and anger over the ineptitude and arrogance of public servants vociferously pushing personal agendas in indirectly profiting from tax payer dollars, citizens are beginning an aggressive counter-attack to oust these martyrs. The foremost target is Kshama Sawant, a self-proclaimed socialist, who in reality is a hipster activist worth millions and literally running the city into the ground. Her list of dubious accomplishments includes a proposal for hijacking the Boeing factory and transforming operations into a factory for mass transit vehicles, and sending a staff member to protest a city sponsored removal of a homeless encampment during normal business hours and on the tax payer dime.
To celebrate Sawant’s positive influence on the city, Amazon.com now features anti-socialist tee-shirts complete with her likeness in a Che Guevara influenced design. The shirts come in array of snazzy colors, and loudly proclaim what every sensible person in the world is thinking in the hope that the door squarely hits her on the behind on her way out during the next round of elections.
