In the “you just can’t make this stuff up” shocking news story of the week, the world’s largest search engine took a giant step backwards in further alienating 50% of its US base, as online users discovered that the obviously biased corporation allowed the inclusion of “nazism” to be part of the organizational summary of the California Republican Party.
Fox News shares the incorrigible audacity of the Silicon Valley based firm in displaying zero accountability by failing properly moderate the listing of the political organization and acknowledging that the error was deliberately overlooked. Instead of doing the right thing, the company chose to play dumb, as a public relations official blamed the appearance of the word on “vandals”. So what’s next, the complete enablement by the tech culture of the online rape and pillage of conservative ideology?
Earlier this year, Google removed any doubts of the blatant political lean of the majority of employees and executives, after an employee was fired for authoring a memo voicing concerns over a corporate culture toxic to conservatives, and forcing a specific agenda on workers (H1-B workers over Americans). Most recently, the company has been knee deep in the self-driving vehicle scandal, as a rash of accidents on public roadways have raised questions as to the ethics of testing developing technology in live traffic and putting other drivers and pedestrians at risk.
The truly ugly reality of this insane narrative, is the propensity of the tech world to fleece the personal data of account holders in selling to the highest bidder, while adopting clearly unbalance community standards in regularly staunching conservative content and viewpoints, and heavily moderating any viewpoints that criticize leftist politics, minorities and any religion other than Christianity. What happened to integrity?
Come on Google, you knew that this unfair and unjust term appeared in the description of the California Republican Party, so just do us all a favor and admit that you are on the attack of conservative and Christian Americans. The irony that is lost on you, is that these folks make up a a nice percentage of your overall user base. Bye-bye Google, good riddance and Hello lawsuit. Have fun in court. Reports are circulating the Bay area that the company is working on two news apps, cnn.google.com and liberal.google.com.
For those who are tired of this hypocritical game of corporations recklessly stepping into the political arena, the search engine that doesn’t compromise your privacy is duckduckgo.com.
