An increasing death rate among millennials posing for selfies in the presence of danger is a disturbing trend, as the consequences associated with instant gratification and validation apparently outweigh common sense and the motivation to participate in a controlled activity. While the middle ground of sensibility succumbs to the outlandish ends of the spectrum, the demographics of society is headed towards a distinction between either risk junkies or couch swipees, with absolutely no gray area.
