Seattle city council member Kshama Sawant very publicly strives to abolish basic liberties, yet wishes to remain invisible outside of protests and meetings.
As protestors within the CHAZ/CHOP autonomous zone destroyed private and public property, and laid waste to themselves in a pure display of cannibalism resulting in four murders bloodying the streets and sidewalks over ten tedious days of civil unrest, the internecine within the city council overflowed to personal levels. Prompted by battle cries from Socialist council member Kshama Sawant, the mob justice of the Black Lives Matter political lobby made an impromptu visit to the residence of mayor Jenny Durkan in an exclusive residential sector of the city.
Durkan, who has been much maligned by rioters and cop supporters alike in allowing chaos to overtake six blocks of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, and the prevalence of a hippy anarchy wave of violence, was not at all pleased with hordes of people congregating in front of her house, and in response to the startling wake up call and taste of her own medicine, has since prompted the council to take extreme paper pushing measures in introducing anonymity to the dossier of the public servant. In doing so, at least she has managed to incite and fragment the entire political spectrum through her professional ineptitude.
While the ceaseless hypocrisy of anti-law enforcement policy threatens to cut the city of Seattle police funding by 50%, city council members are scrambling to create the impossible dichotomy of remaining invisible to the public outside of working hours, and the irony that their $129 thousand base salaries are paid by the constituents that they apparently serve, is lost in a sea of hyperbole and elitist notions. In completely banishing transparency to the ominous tundra and the rusty gulags of reform once populated by political adversaries to the Socialist republic, and the rare and morsel and delicacy of a living cockroach cherished amidst the brutal underlings of a state forced labor camp, council members prefer to operate within the shadows. Electronic and paper trails tracking billions of dollars earmarked for the vast enterprise of the homeless industrial complex disappear within the vacuous bureaucracy, while law enforcement professionals are prohibited from making arrests of violent criminals for the sake of the city maintaining reputable crime statistics. The heinous example of police not allowed to do their job, is a violent felon lurking on the streets who has been convicted of over 70 assaults, and the city attorney recommended probation after the most recent arrest of the crook, after the perp, unprovoked, sucker punched a man in the back of the head. Apparently, three strikes is simply reserved for the baseball diamond. Public officials are tempting nebulous obscurity in forcing iron clad rule over a glorified rioting commune with the tattered remnants of the civil rights movement setting the Capitol Hill neighborhood ablaze during the relentless Summer heatwave.
In remaining implacable, yet insufferably furtive, the nine member city council is employing drastic measures to enact legislation to have their listed residence disappearing from public records. The campaign was motivated by the mayor of Olympia, Washington receiving an impromptu visit from a mob of social justice warriors vocally demanding her removal from office. The one-sided conference ended abruptly, as dissidents vandalized and spray painted the home and property, leading to concessions towards the demonstrations under the umbrella of the Black Lives Matter brand.
After a new trend was established for violent groups to use unsavory and reproachable tactics of lawlessness to gain publicity, Durkan’s mansion was swarmed by an angry posse under the leadership of Socialist Seattle city council member Kshama Sawant leading the shrill and chanting group marching east of the CHOP/CHAZ zone to an affluent residential neighborhood near Lake Washington. Sawant, an outspoken proponent of the people taking the Boeing manufacturing plant and transforming the assembly lines into a factory for mass transit vehicles, as well a serial regular of breaching procedure, just can’t seem to take a hint.
As many Seattle residents have complained that the latitude and hands off approach given to the parade of demonstrators parallels the coddling of anarchy within city limits, the irony as always been the notion of how government officials would react if the mob infiltrated their precious neighborhoods. The term of “accountability” comes to mind. Within the karmic balances of the universe and turn about being fair play, Durkan and associates couldn’t have received a better lesson in how cause and effects works in the real world and outside the controlled environment and sanctuary of the council chambers.
While city of Seattle elected officials other than Sawant scramble to avoid facing a similar fate to a pair of Western Washington mayors, law-abiding citizens from around the region preach “good riddance” to the pending future appointments scheduled by the mob to the remaining city council members, and scrutinize the tax-payer money wasted on a futile attempt and the misappropriation of what should be information available to the public. If a certain group is given a free pass and a pat on the back to engage in destructive criminal activity, what precedent is being set for the near future of ignored misdemeanors or worse escalating to acts of domestic terrorism?
While law enforcement has already endured the hamstringing efforts of career politicians disguised as societal engineers, and idealists foisting a one-sided agenda onto the unfortunate voters, the system of checks and balances does not apply to elections framework that is typified by the age old phrase used in the Daley era of Chicago- “vote early, vote often”. And the cantankerous maniacal actions of an infrastructure rigged to promote the onset of Democratic Socialism, there are no winners within an environment that embraces heavy public spending, an open disdain for the police, and the castigation of any citizen who disagrees with the regressive policy forwarded by megalomaniacs blind to the stark lessons of history only ten decades removed from utter chaos in ushering in the information age where critical thinking skills dissipate in a sea of discontent.
Similar to the now infamous couple in Missouri attempting to defend their homes from an angry crowd only to be vulnerable to unending criticism and unjustified prosecution, public servants must now face the unscrupulous consensus of normal folks and activists alike in battling volatility. Actions have consequences and public figures must deal with the reality that the sanctuary of their homes and neighborhoods have been permanently compromised by decisions they chose to make while in office, decisions that have resulted in chaos in cities up and down the West coast. On a planet where the either/or mentality serves as a convenient vehicle to impose personal politics on freedom loving Americans, truth is deliberately buried and inequality results in a swarm of divisiveness and mistrust, two components vital for wholesale change in common law.
