A Seattle police officer cannot enjoy the simple things in life, as the reactionary lobby has warped the definition of policing to “Republican party racist killing mercenaries”, that area kindergarteners are even shunned and rushed to the school psychologist for immediate medication by their Democratic-leaning teacher for answering “What do you want to be when you grow up?” with “I want to be a policewoman”.
It has gotten so bad that law enforcement professionals are regularly prodded, taunted, and subject to verbal tirades, while painfully obvious crime thrives thanks to ineffective city policy. Somehow displaying unbelievable patience and restraint under the weight and strain of the public to actually enter their frequent cafe or convenience store, they are abruptly told to hit the road. The job is brutal and thankless on the outside, and within confines of local cafes and boutique shops, the environment is actually less inviting, as a growing minority of the population at the very least requires a swift kick in the ass, and a crash course in context.
In the aftermath of the lingering occupation of a downtown Seattle neighborhood last Summer, the outpouring of contemptible disdain for local law enforcement in the community was displayed through a myriad of variants represented by toxic self-serving sanctimony. While society can laugh at the relevant donut humor of police enjoying a special symbiotic relationship with local coffee and confectionary establishments, a cultural phenomenon that was cemented by notable pop cultural references in the motion picture “Die Hard”, and the relentless schtick of Chief Wiggum’s blundering style of administrative leadership on “the Simpsons”, political extremists are on a pathological pilgrimage to simply nullify the innocence and fun in facet of life.
The owner of Molly moon’s ice cream shop, a small business caught within the volatile intertidal zone of the precarious borders of the infamous CHAZ/CHOP battlefield joined the ranks of cop haters, even after business was spared from the wave of incessant vandalism, a belligerent and heartless message was sent to the men and women of law enforcement, and gun owners. The strident words were affixed on a window next to the front door of the shop for the world to see, and deplorable actions by the owner made the entire digital rounds by reaching trending status across the digital expanse, actions that are protected by the First Amendment, but ironically actions that make a resounding impression and consistently build towards an eventual run-in with tyranny if the Biden administration gets its way. Frequently patronized by cops at one time, the boutique ice cream shop is located within the shadow of the now shuttered East Precinct police headquarters, until the city caved into the demands of defunding police extremists.
One would think that the severity of backlash and deserved ridicule faced by the ice cream business would have deterred future behavior blatantly admonishing cops, but again this is Seattle, where a Socialist city council member currently faces the reality of recall after admitting to ethics violations towards Washington-based retail behemoth Amazon, and repeat violent offenders with assault convictions averaging double digits, spend more time roaming unrestrained through the downtown corridor on attack mode in being barred from serving multiple sentences, than the Clintons do in avoiding prison. Police are told by there superiors to not make arrests for minor crimes, and open drug use, and vagrancy are now common occurences on city streets in broad daylight.
Unfortunately for the sake of sanity, a local chocolate shop crossed the dubious threshold of intolerable defiance by savagely and reprehensibly denying a pair of law enforcement professionals from purchasing a box of sweets. Apparently, local police are losing the popularity vote among confectioners and their employees, and the poor treatment of officers is a growing epidemic no longer confided to the public sphere.
An employee at Chocolati, located in the artsy Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, apparently ignored the pair of SPD browsing in the retail space, and when they finally got the worker’s attention, she vehemently refused service. The person, now out of a job, though it took a minute, is unabashedly anti-cop via a social media account, and trumpets a decrepit and unrelenting ideology to dissolve all police departments regardless of the negative consequences on a multitude of levels. Baseline professionalism and courtesy is now a threatened species as incited hospitality workers allegedly do not care about employment status, as checks from the state and the Federal government compliment the lifestyle of an ill-tempered lazy philosopher the product of the current public education cyclical nightmare, the individual transfixed by the micro-blogging of Twitter and the termination of critical thought.
The vile and unacceptable treatment of the law enforcement is a simply microcosm to the modern iteration of militarized police reform, that is in actuality diminishing the quality of life for the entire populace. Within the agenda-laden vacuous minds of left-leaning societal engineers, the existence of 99.999999% of the total police force moral and sworn to protect and serve will never outweigh isolated and tragic incidents perpetuated by anomalies, and exploited by the mainstream media. The politicking and irrational fear has led to monumental negative impacts on public safety.
According to officials, 250 Seattle police officers have left the department during the arduous calendar and in that time frame the homicide rate in the city has spiked by an alarming 26%. Coincidently, the meteoric rise in violent murders parallels the medieval hefty taxes on guns and ammunition, and like San Francisco recklessly giving the last of the firearms retailers no choice by to relocate outside the borders of the overt autocracy. As radical Socialist Kshama Sawant and a polarizing progressive city council attempt to adopt legislation and policy that aims to divert funding from civic policing, and measures to limit the actions of officers in keeping the street rats safe from law-abiding citizens, all while decriminalizing non-violent misdemeanors and enabling theft and vandalism, the pending crises is an illustrative template of how to ruin a city. Cue the music to “It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World”, in the absence of serial chuckling, as the shrill bloviations of the technicolor hipster taking orders at the small business is like the scourge and filth of verbal graffiti, and has a ripple effect on the entire community.
The owner of Chocolati eventually authored a glaring disingenuous token passive maybe apology social network F***book post to the LEO’s who faced the ire of the Bolshevik recreationist disguised as a gnarly martyr singing the platitudes of the countercultural movement.
The hive mind of social media responded unfavorably to the tepid and frankly disgusting apologist mentality of the post, and the owner subsequently doubled down two days later, in pure ceremonious grandstanding fashion, while employing a desperate and tawdry application of damage control.
Time is not an ally to professional disruptors, as the confrontation unfolded on April, 27. In keeping with the temporal inferences there is something about and old saying, “too little, too late”, or in this self-driving vehicle epic collision of activism, delusion, and entitlement, “too little, and quite indifferent”.
Donut culture has officially been tried, convicted and sentenced to the death camp wastelands of Chinese auxiliary North American factory operations in manufacturing microchips vital for purges and malware intrusions compromising the crucial infrastructure of the energy grid, and “swipe right” dating apps. As law enforcement in Seattle, and other West coast cities faces ostracization, and detriment stemming from horrendous legislation contrived in the wake of such unsavory and disheartening incidents, it falls on the shoulders of reasonable citizens to exercise their First Amendment rights in ultimately preserving rights by immediately defending and showing continued supportive gestures for cops everywhere.
A future overwrought with maladjusted political pundits constantly in the ear of spineless lawmakers does nothing to elicit optimism for the next decade, as timorous hope craves a helping of ice cream and chocolates from a non-existent Seattle business that actually gives a damn about the community.
