Facing a dwindling spiral into the obsolete, waning streaming media giant YouTube is attempting to reinvigorate its stagnant role in societal engineering by deviating from the grand plan in offering an invigorating platform and stoking controversy through shared content. As the indoctrination of the younger generations remains in the juvenile stages of reprogramming the stimulus instincts of the brain to induce complacency and compliance, the gravitation to remove negative connotations from the collaborating members of the social justice movement, remains one of many nefarious directives of the assorted tech realm.
In a campaign to rebuild its tattered and depleted user base, YouTube has eliminated showing the number of “DISLIKE” votes a video has received, and caving in to the participation trophy frenzy. The act of rewarding simply and individual being in the room, lacks the necessary force and concept of constructive criticism vital for development and growth. Instead the rare talents of individuals actually deserving accolades or universal respect and recognition are watered down.
The hypocritical move by the social network mainstay, which indirectly promotes civil unrest and the eventual degradation into chaos leading to a complete tear down and rebuild of societal dynamics, represents a coordinated attack on truth and the unsettling endorsement of the subjective in creating a customizable template for what is collectively perceived as reality and ultimate control.
Previously, the “Midnight at the Apollo” ecosystem of the digital community, conflated with elements of the “Gong Show” allowed end users, or an electronic audience, to effectively show their onscreen disapproval for an apparent inferior production in the from of a thumb’s down icon. Naturally, videos with a majority of “dislikes” in proportion to “LIKES” were generally avoided, as viewers are given a friendly warning that watching the stream would effectively be a waste of time. However, the leadership at the tech behemoth has opted to keep the comments open, and at least some semblance of unmoderated interaction still exists, as the essence of the original vision of an unregulated internet appears in sporadic instances of dissolving and shimmering pixels. As social media is both the greatest invention and plague to the human race in existing as temperamental duality, the staggering magnitude of revenue generated in the spirit of the free market, cannot forgive the gift horse gesture to the Chinese. The planet’s second most populated regime, and other totalitarian governments perfecting intricate and addictive software tools to exploit the basic instincts of mankind and place overbearing shackles of ideology on the unfortunate naive citizens. Sadly, the majority of the population is oblivious to the blatant overreach of government and the evolution of elitism. Meanwhile, Beijing’s brainchild TikTok continues to grow at an alarming level in popularity as the population of the West continues the torrid affair with the idea of selfie in posting mountain range high server farm levels of mundane videos allegedly documenting the treasured moments in life. China has effectively deployed its surveillance tentacles globally, and people readily consent to the intrusion worth of an electronic military invasion by simply installing the app and adhering the ambiguous fine print contained within the “Terms and Conditions”. It would have been much easier if party officials had simply asked the Biden administration for diplomatic permission to physically construct droves of cameras on US soil.
Thanks to the brainwashing efforts of the bizarrely absurd indirect alliance between big tech and the Chinese Communist party, at least from the standpoint of tediously sharing the common goal of global domination, only white Conservative straight males are allowed to be electronically lambasted, and YouTube is working on an algorithm to isolate the hate with a tapeworm. (China’s framework of hundreds of millions of HD facial recognition cameras would not be feasible without Silicon valley software, and the legions of Sino-computer users pour hundreds of billions of dollars yearly into the tech coffers in illustrating a confusing symbiosis that rivals the circus ring of California politics without the Dennis Rodman factor)
As pioneering streaming corporation undergoes a significant migration to other destinations, the once robust “Trending videos” list has gone the way of the department store, where revenue is down by 25%, and flash mob sales bashes, literally and figuratively, are up a shocking 400%, a figure that is only expected to explode. Stolen from the pages of the brilliant Max Barry satirical dissection of Capitalism, “Jennifer Government”, Nordstrom officials probably paid the pillagers outfitted in snazzy matching jumpsuits to incite its wallowing brand. Of course in Barry’s delectable insane world of ceaseless financial transactions usurping moral obligations and warping the criminal system to the status of FUBAR, YouTube would launch a venture outsourced to the lowest series of bidders in featuring multimedia that would make the audience within the “Truman Show” uncomfortable in celebrating the uncensored animalistic subtleties of everyday life. With expectations of privacy all but extinguished by the middle of the century and modesty succumbing to the smartphone vanity fetish, the idea of 24-7 live streams showing absolutely everything is not far-fetched.
For now, the struggle wages on in processing yet another digital idiosyncrasy, and in the tireless exchange of data for data, and tit for tat, the mind forgets yet another priceless historical treasure that was mentally and organically “Liked”. The true concept of forever cannot be emulated through electronic synapses.
