The Sunday monster cast was another good one. I know, I’m partial but as I always like to say, facts are stubborn things. Joining me on Sunday evening this week was Alan Gottlieb who gave us his insight and analysis on the events that unfolded the previous week in Alexandria, VA. Alan and the Second Amendment Foundation had, earlier in the week, put out a press release discussing the root cause of the attempted assassination of nearly 20 Republican members of congress by a left-wing nut case fueled by hateful leftist political rhetoric.
Alan made no bones about where this political division is coming from and where it will lead again if left unchecked by those fomenting it. We also discussed the Supreme Court and whether or not he believes they will take up the two 2A cases before them each week during the SCOTUS conferences. We can report that as of last week they had pushed them off one more time. More to come next week.
Hour two saw the regular appearance of AWR Hawkins from Breitbart News as we discussed his weekly columns and award winning pro-rights coverage for the previous seven days. This week we deviated slightly to bring some attention to AWR’s latest endeavor as the AWR Hawkins POW collection is unveiled at the Nimitz Museum in Texas. Most people don’t know that AWR has an extensive collection of former POW interviews he conducted during work on his doctorate. Well, now it’s available for all to see. Tune in to find out where!
Hour three was an hour dedicated to all of us. The regular Joe. America. I focused the hour on the the American truck driver by interviewing Mr. Paul Lathrop. Paul is not only a truck driver but the cohost of The Polite Society Podcast as well. He told the harrowing personal story of being charged with two felonies during a road rage incident at a truck stop. Eventually having charges dropped, Paul exposes what can happen when you merely tell someone you have a gun, without even showing it. Trust me, your right to bear arms comes with great responsibility. Learn from Paul how not to become embroiled in the justice system.
