Everyone can agree that through out Earth’s history, the cyclical rising and falling of sea temperatures, subtle orbital change and innumerable factors have led to periods of rising and falling temperatures and changing weather patterns.
Unfortunately, over the last quarter century, the ugly beast of climate change has reared its ugly head in the realm of politics and economics, rather than the steadfast foundations of research and fact. As the “green” industry has become a multi-billion dollar cash cow, the idea of reality has been lost in the shuffle of approximations and half-truths. In the latest battle preserving a healthy amount of skepticism and perspective, the talking heads have resumed their assault on the truth.
Conservative news syndicate Breitbart recently published an article debunking data sets pertaining the apparent cooling trends caused by La Nina weather cycles. In response to the website’s research and conclusions, an unqualified talking head took liberties in releasing her own version of “fake news”. While, the meteorologist does possess an undergraduate degree and is well-versed as a broadcaster, the idea of a non-scientific authority attempting to inform and enlighten a mass audience is the boldest possible example of a double negative. In the wake of her rant in promoting the lock down authority of science, the Sierra Club earned a record number of donations and 2017 Earth Day has been able to achieve substantial growth will now include the moon in a package deal celebrating liberal guilt.
The only idea akin to a fact out of this whole fiasco is that the anchor woman is hot and created her own heat flux energy in producing a micro-climate. However she fails to grasp the idea that current computer technology does not support the data requirement of accurate climate models based on innumerable variables over billions of years.
