Impassioned sports fans represent a special variation of enthusiasm, and level of intensity that most of us wisely choose to hide while in public. Add traditional media and live broadcasts to the tedious equation and let the fireworks begin. In a rather bombastic example of fandom gone awry, sports television host Paul Finebaum and guest were subject to an ire filled tirade from a female Auburn football fan. While there was no inherent threat of any bodily harm from the irate “Tammy”, she apparently stole the show and facilitated the onset of emotional anguish for the guest and host.
