Investigators are on scene today in Colorado trying to determine the cause of an early-morning fire that destroyed a gun range and store in suburban Denver.
The fire took place early this morning at the facility known as the Shootist, located in Englewood, south of downtown Denver. There were no injuries as the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, but Engelwood police told KMGH-TV that residents living within a block of the fire were evacuated with the help of reverse 911 calls.
The fire was put out within a couple of hours and the evacuated residents are now back in their homes. Fire and police investigators will participate in looking for the cause of the fire, according to the Denver Post. Since it is early, no cause had been determined as of press time.
