One of the first and most important creeds when devolving into an official cat shepherd is, “100 is too little, 1000 is never enough.” In a real life horror story for pets, a woman from Washington state literally followed the command and was arrested and convicted of animal cruelty for housing a full centenary of cats in the confines of an RV last year, the Daily Astorian reports.
Disturbingly, the herd of felines was not enough for 58-year-old fugitive and crusader for pet justice, Kathryn St. Clare, who fled to neighboring Oregon and was taken into custody by law enforcement officials for amassing a gallery of 42 cats (one dead) in a single automobile (possible world record?). Authorities tagged St. Clare’s cat-powered muscle car at a Fred Meyer parking lot and transferred the poor animals to a local animal shelter. She currently faces multiple criminal charges in Oregon and Washington.
Could this be a sign that Western Civilization is slowly dissipating into a cruel night fueled by catnip breezes of Feminist prompted sexless excess? If your first date involves a pet store, run. Stay tuned.
