“It’s Gone On Long Enough”
Former New York City mayor and U.S. attorney Rudy Giuliani has joined the Trump legal team and intends to bring to an end Robert Mueller’s ongoing Russia investigation.
It shouldn’t take more than “a week or two” to come to a resolution on the probe, Giuliani said.
“I’m going to join the legal team to try to bring this to a resolution,” Giuliani told The New York Post. “The country deserves it. I’ve got a great admiration for President Trump.”
The former New York City mayor said Thursday he hoped to “negotiate an end” to the investigation with Mueller.
According to Hannity.com Giuliani claim:
I’ve had a long relationship with Bob Mueller. I have great respect for him. He’s done a good job,” he added. “I don’t know yet what’s outstanding. But I don’t think it’s going to take more than a week or two to get a resolution. They’re almost there.”
Giuliani is a longtime friend and staunch supporter of President Trump; delivering a fiery speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
“What I did for New York City, Donald Trump will do for America,” he said. “Every time New York City suffered a tragedy, Donald Trump was there to help.”
