A Connecticut man was preparing to commute to work early Friday morning, when he encountered a man with a knife in his kitchen.
According to police, the homeowner brandished a firearm and held the alleged criminal at bay in a corner until police arrived. The man forced entry into the home by cutting through a screen door.
While carrying a full burden of shame from being forced to sit in the corner like a child and taken into custody and processed by authorities, whether or not the failed burglar will think twice about continuing on the pathway to crime has piqued the interest of all responsible gun owners in the neighborhood.
