Thanks to a democrat induced vote in the state legislative session teeming with an effervescence of George Soros one world ideology and nuances of reeducation, emissions from the commuters and heavy industries of Washington state are on the brink of funding lawmakers and the countless transcontinental comfortable jet liner journeys to DC and back (hopefully in a Boeing aircraft).
As the glaze on the irony has the sicking consistency and taste of cough syrup, citizens of the tax happy “Evergreen” state, may see an increase of about 9 cents per gallon of gas as the direct result of a carbon-tax measure, while the politicians and their wayward effort to fight the imaginary battle and myth of climate change, are whisked 30,000 feet above the apparent and hapless minions of horrible policy, to meetings and the incessant rubber stamping in the nation’s capitol. The complete absence of logic is mind numbing. So, Governor Jay Inslee is trying to “fight” climate change by reducing carbon emissions. In the mind of bureaucrat, the obvious method in saving the planet is to increase the tax on drivers who work, because automobiles are an environmental nightmare, while continuing to make the crucial and necessary weekly trips via jet aircraft to the east coast and effectively govern in a feel good gesture towards constituents. Commence with a primal growl!
Taking a page directly from the context of Orwell’s Animal Farm, in the lexicon of politicians, “Cars are bad (except if you own a government subsidized Tesla or Prius and the quandary of the highly toxic battery disposal) and “We will completely ignore the fact that jet airliners have much more of an environmental impact than cars.” The insanity is stifling.
However, we can all relish in the wonderful thought of Hillary thundering over us in a 787 Dreamliner, as she does it for her foundation, and she does it for humanity. “People of Washington, this is your captain speaking. We have reached a new cruising depth of futility, so you are now free to walk, bike, ride share, mount a camel, or take public transportation to work. Just don’t drive. The computer shows that the current ground time is three decades with billions of wasted dollars.”
