Those Were Happy Times On The Silver Screen
Displaying at least a Chinese-cloned Apple I-Phone OS level of forthrightness and integrity, CEO of the avian digital zoo of Tweets and various bird calls, Jack Dorsey committed the ultimate Freudian slip on the global catwalk in emphatically shouting that, “Yes!” the tech elite is manipulating the vast platforms of social networking to net billion dollar profits, all while promoting a leftist agenda. The very serious temporary onset of a conscience clearly reveals the true intentions of ruthless Silicone Valley leadership in a dedicated attempt to restructure the societal hierarchy for personal gains.
The classic Disney animated musical highlighting Twitterpation, complete with a troupe of charming singing and dancing forest animals celebrating the mating instinct and the Spring fever of love, cannot reach the primetime drama threshold of the ominous futuristic Twitter jungle where leading conservative icons, are being strategically hunted, captured, and ultimately eliminated from the electronic construct. The online firing squad is mercilessly efficient in ensuring a swift and bleak finality, where dissidents are effectively erased from memory and in a single line of code, cease to have existed and ending up as a scattering cloud of meaningless fragmented pixels. The circle of life.
Stately figurehead and actor James Woods is the latest casualty of the relentless wrath orchestrated by Dorsey, in political sterilization of the platform almost solely responsible for the deconstruction for traditional language and critical thought. Wood’s controversial Tweet apparently violated ambiguous community “Terms and Conditions”, meaning that the context of the post did not fit the agenda of the company, and earned the celebrity an unwarranted banishment, reports MSNBC.
The company recently enforced a lifetime ban on right-wing extremist and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, after a Tweet authored by the host of “Info Wars” apparently included a video link, where Jones compared the eyes of a CNN host to a rat. Oh, the humanity!
This Is One Angry And Defiant Bird!
Within the irregularities and spooky incongruencies shaping the known internet universe, the ruthless attack facilitated by Dorsey, moderators and bots, rivals the king of the urban neighborhood making a necessary and strategic correction to the accepted ebb and flow of the local criminal enterprise, by wielding the simple and effective tool of an aluminum baseball bat. To the untrained eye, the chaotic and fury of blows to the body and head of the victim are unnecessarily savage and even cruel, marked by a careless ferocity, however, for those familiar with the rules of the street, the performance of the thug transcends art and eloquence in a duality bordering on perfection. Defying both God and evolution in the primal deconstruction of the delicate human form, the billions of years melt away with each crafted swing, puddling the alleyway with an opaque wetland of genetic markers speckled with islands of brain matter. The individual simply disappears physically and is never spoken of again, and the natural order in the best interest of the system is temporarily restored. What is one sacrifice, but for the greater good? Whether it be paid muscle, or aggressive moderation efforts specifically targeting specific persons and ideology, the formula for subversive corruption is universal. Because they can.
Unlike Jones, Woods is a well-respected actor outside of his political commentaries, which begs the question, who will be the next to draw the brutal turf war brand of Dorsey ire in earning a permanent ban on the local tavern ladder of right-minded commentators? If it can happen to James Woods, it can happen to anyone.
The Wood’s scandal is merely a surface level indiscretion and representation of flawed and aggressive policies in blocking specific users and content that is not conducive to the prevailing narrative embraced by company culture, and executing procedures for the storage and mining of personal information in creating net worth for lucrative business dealings with the entire spectrum of industries. Again, as a publicly traded entity, the corporation makes the rules, but at the same time walks a thin line when claiming to disseminate what can be categorized as “factual”. Conflict of interest anyone? Thus, the end user must be vigilant in questioning every 280 character or less Tweet that is pawned off as the bi-product of at least some level of journalism, that may or may not adhere to ethical standards or
The cute little songbird corporate face of Twitter is anything but, and as the company steers towards the distribution of news and editorials, the 2018 election looms on the horizon as a prime opportunity for the tech realm to truly influence the results of a Presidential race, without the assistance from disruptive third party software bots, that emanate from thousands of miles to the east of Moscow.
Not that it matters, as nobody from the right will be left. Note to self- “Cancel account ASAP.”
