The ingredients for the thorough shaming of a competent graduate student and teaching assistant are simple in a controversial recipe and highlighted with an abundance of insanity. First, acknowledge the whiny disposition of one who feels wronged. Next, schedule an inquisition with the accused and use delicious and empty blanket metaphors involving Hitler and terms such as “diametrically” to ensure the patches stay affixed to the haggard sports jacket.
Finally, include the presence a brave young woman, who possess an innate wisdom in activating a recording device, so that the entire population is informed of the egregious and unsavory intellectual transgressions that occur daily in university campuses. Bake with a high intensity of controversy and criticism and serve with a retort consisting of calls to congress in limiting funding which promotes future attacks on basic liberties and freedoms.
The mechanisms that the academic community will employ to protect manufactured and damaging ideologies are astounding and horrific. A graduate student and teaching assistant at a university in Canada recently found out that all opinions on campus are not considered equal, unless one engages in effective countermeasures. Lindsay Shepherd, a first year graduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, showed her class a video of the polarizing cultural critic Jordan Petersen, in prompting discussion, and got more than she bargained for. Her reward for promoting a diversity of dialogue and critical thinking, was a horrendous interrogation administered by faculty which included intellectual bullying and tactics of military grade reeducation. The group of offending professors, who are subject to the worst of Orwell insults through insgoc, as a result of their efforts in contributing to the 43 minutes of hell in reprimanding Shepherd, will be simply referred to as “unctuous naked mole rats”. The resourceful TA, effectively returned the tables on the groupthink colony and recorded each intricate baleful and gory moments of the academic torture session and released the full version to the public. Subsequently, the officials at the university released an empty and public apology to Shepherd, in attempting to cover for the blatantly unprofessional conduct of the “unctuous naked vole rats”, which is the apparent standard operating procedure on college campuses. Her efforts in providing further tangible proof of the subversive and environment of totalitarianism existing behind the ivy covered brick walls separating reality from a nightmare, is a legacy that Shepherd has established in outing the leftist characteristics dominating the university establishment. A heightened public interest in examining the current government funding mechanisms towards at least public universities, should be given a high priority.
The harrowing narrative is indicative of two realities. Firstly, with the prevalence of user friendly and recording technology tied to smartphones and other devices, one should lean towards documenting meetings and interactions that may include controversy. Of course, this reaction is prompted by the existence of inaccurate information flooding social networks and newsrooms. Lastly, parents and prospective students should conduct extensive research as to the campus environment and political leanings of the faculty at a university, as to prevent future headaches caused by attempts at brainwashing.
Warning- the following video is the complete and unedited version of Shepherd’s ordeal. The content is both disturbing and informative, as a raw and authentic snapshot of time in the modern university experience. The highlight of the trial is when an obviously flustered Shepherd points out what should be the obvious, “In a university, all perspectives are valid.” To which the leader of naked mole rats responds, “That’s not necessarily true.” Finally, an esteemed faculty member echoes what reasonable people have been saying for a quarter of a century. “On a college campus, all are not created equal. Especially, if they are deemed wrong.”
