The initial wave of decrepit stoicism from the (un)leadership of the city stemmed with the cancellation of a prelude event leading up to the Rose Parade, as the mayor felt compelled to staunch the rights of the Multnomah County Republicans in appearing at the event after specific threats were made by anarchists.
At that point, Portland gained notoriety on a national scale as a bastion of weak-minded idealists striving for diversity, balance and political change, yet succumbing to the hypocrisy at the basis of their own movement for supposed liberties and justice. In the latest indiscretion by the flailing elected governing organ of the city, a barrage of chaos ensued Sunday involving protesters and police, as the ineffectual actions of the city finally culminated in an angry tidal wave and unabashed orgy of violence. What was supposed to be day for Pro-Trump supporters in providing an infusion of crucial balanced needed in an environment of progressively one-sided indoctrination made possible by the listless ideals of future Venezuelan socialists posing as representatives of the population, who probably donned Che Guevara tee-shirts during wasted undergraduate campaigns at the expense of tax payers, quickly devolved into a playground of smoke and screams and typified by the tenuous and aggressive tendencies of the fine and upstanding citizens still living in mom’s basement. KOIN-TV reports that law enforcement officials made an attempt to control raucous resistance to public dialogue. There is no word as of yet if former NBA star Bill Walton was among the crazed attendees to the civic carnage. If this had been a planned reverence to Bernie Sanders encountering the same type of civil disobedience, the city would have reverted into the shadows of a collective “safe zone” while piping through the miracle of audio, the musings of Bill Maher or Al Franken. Instead, as yet another passive aggressive response to the results of the election, it became disturbingly apparent that only one school of thought is allowed to pervade along the banks of the Willamette River.
In the largest city of Oregon, Constitutional rights are allegedly served an on a la carte basis, and if one disagrees with the the majority opinion, bring out the ice cubes and the hot water, a Beirut war zone of discontent will obscure any resistance.
