Ted Turner’s brainchild of a television propaganda machine, the vacuously sensationalistic CNN, an entertainment outlet that sometimes stumbles upon news, but is awash in multitudes of cerebral puns, cannot shed the well-deserved ridicule and criticism spawned by staging and filming “breaking” incidents. Nor can the group think tank of extremism, which invented “fake news” resist the urge to kick itself in the teeth by publishing the results of an obscure and slanted study branding Republicans as being highly susceptible to false information.
The vast cable empire first set the precedent for the dichotomy of objective journalism by casting and fabricating a 2017 protest in London, and pawned the production off as news to viewers. In the aftermath of the deplorable ruse, as skeptics and public watchdogs have emerged, and the presence of social media has galvanized the migration of the core audience to smart devices, ratings have largely plummeted as a result, except for a brief renaissance during the 2020 elections.
While the snarky quips of the Communist News Network, or the Chinese News Network are harmless and fun plays on the broadcast syndicate’s abbreviation, the majority have content has been reduced to progressive rhetoric delivered by polarizing hosts. During the entire lifespan of the Trump administration, coverage was devoted to dissecting and spinning news emanating from the White House to fit the narrative of the Jim Acostas and Don Lemons in tarnishing the actions of the President at all costs. These egregious actions lacking any semblance of integrity or ethics were directly responsible for the inception of “fake news” and leading to an epidemic of mainstream subversion. Unfortunately, not a single soul within the glittering New York city news headquarters is aware, or willing to admit to the lapses in journalistic integrity, and this indifference is only compounded by the fact that everyone outside of the organization is aware of the questionable and damaging practices.
Ironically, the network recently chose to run an editorial via the CNN website making the ubiquitous claim that conservatives are more likely to believe fake news, a glaring example of “pot calling the kettle black”. While the questionable at best feature pulled snippets from a study by a pair of Ohio State University professors that in no way was bias on any level, the audacity of editors to run with content is beyond reproach.
The story asserts that conservatives are more inclined than liberals to “misconceptions” or misrepresentations of fact, a highly laughable assessment considering that left-learning media is just now reporting that trendy street violence is now an issue in Portland because of anarchists, and the Governor of Washington state denied knowledge of the existence of the CHAZ/CHOP autonomous zone during a key gubernatorial debate. This subject matter never saw the light of day during Trump’s tenure. History is literally being rewritten and at a cost. Suddenly law-abiding gun owners are domestic terrorists, religious followers outside of the Islam faith are zealots, concerned parents wary of the future for their daughters competing in sports where the playing field are myopic, and land owners concerned with property values are anti-climate rednecks.
CNN Commentator believes the GOP is infected by tribalism, a rather hypocritical analysis considering the source and the characteristic of the social dynamics of progressives in bombarding social media with mistruths.
Most leftists choose to only embrace science the information promotes an ulterior motive, as was the propensity of elitist suburban dog moms supporting raucous and crowded Black Lives Matter protests during the height of the pandemic in 2020. Against the social justice movement distancing and masks only applied to every facet of life outside of public demonstrations aimed at deriding the First and Second Amendment. Trump’s reversal of the revamped Endangered Species Act in preventing the federal government from executing a land grab scheme based proxy habitats and conjecture fell on deaf ears, as the inability of the CNN audience to take off the blinders and see the big picture represents just how fickle the societal engineering architects are in the concerted effort of national reeducation camps. These examples are merely the tip of the iceberg of an entire ice continent of dissent that may or may not be subject to the wavering science of climatology.
The cognitive dissonance evident now that Biden is in office, or the mentality of “anyone other than Trump”, is being displayed on a daily basis through revisionism afflicting mainstream newsrooms and shifting beliefs and prevarications of progressives in pursuing an agenda, rather than truth, and undoing the damage within the Republic costs five times the energy costs. Perception and context outweighs fact in hierarchy of anchors, reports, editors, and producers. The issue is only exacerbated by the average attention span and intelligence flatlining as humanity adjusts to the information age.
It is far from shocking that CNN chose to give credence to a cherry picked study dealing with an insufficient sample size in stigmatizing a large group of voters, who do not require any ammunition to incite, after absorbing a tidal wave of insults and insufferable platitudes over the last four years. However, the role of the majority has morphed from an unbiased source of information, to a former International Olympic Committee bureaucrat turned WWE Red Bull swigging and vaping fight promoter, utilizing the perfected tactics of Vince Mcmahon in pitting the two sides of the nation against each other in a culture clash of hedonistic Thanksgiving gluttonous ringside sweaty feast of chair bashing and kicks to the cranium, where all that matters is the tonic that quenches the ego, and of course the bottom line.
Fortunes being made in a Capitalistic economy are a thing of beauty, but the motivations of CNN border on the pathological, as the stagnant ratings, and the expenditures to furnish the jewel of the New York studios do not seem to follow a viable business model. In applying Occam’s Razor to explain the tone deaf ruminations from broadcasters that immediately alienates half of the audience and detrimentally affects revenue, the management and on-air talent have simply assumed the role of activists, and instead of pursuing fortunes, instead value relentlessly poking and prodding patriotic Americans to fill the void absent of truth.
Hopefully, Chinese media tycoon Jack Ma is not aware that the CNN staff has sold out, or maybe he has.
