With Qantas airlines offering long haul transpacific jet travel to an array of destinations across the equator in hurling passengers between hemispheres lasting fourteen to sixteen hours, while the business class configuration of the 787 provides an underwhelming respite from the lingering side effects of jet lag and cabin fever, the infectious public policies and politics swarming the lands Down Under exist within a tedious proximity to the Left Coast.
If burgeoning government can emanate from Canberra through reckless and malicious brain storming sessions embracing the insensible, surely the republic of California and a vibrant group of legislators with an insatiable lust for the tawdry and unsettling nature of a fad, or “what’s in to win”, will lustily piggyback on any instance of willful experimentation, as long as the framework slants to the left. Just ask Nancy Pelosi as to the thoughts of the collective on the alleged merits of contemporary Australian gun control law.
Apparently, certain members of parliament possess a unique and troubling disconnect in processing the differences between the idea of discrimination and a belief system. This disturbing reality led to a tax payer-funded intensive investigation exploring the possibility that religious individuals, could quite possibly be just a little upset by the radicalized government imposing relentless societal pressure for a non-state entity to conform to toxic policy, and in doing so trading beliefs for the stifling harness of bureaucratic control. The results from the “Ruddock Report” were largely ignored by elected officials, as Prime Minister Scott Morrison vehemently declared that a national law of inclusiveness for the private education realm could pave the way to utopia. It is a sobering thought to realize that the workers of Australia face many of the same challenges spawned by the idealistic ineptitude of certain public servants, a label that does not aptly describe the level incompetence and bouts of visceral hypocrisy which replace the constructive fundamentals of logic.
If the residents of Australia endure the attempt of societal engineering within the most sacred and spiritual worship spaces of churches, synagogues, or even mosques, what ugly precedent does this set in US politicians in going for the jugular to increase the expanse of the nanny state in a strong arming the religious community to accept the unacceptable? As opinion and subjectivity is codified into policy, the integrity of a free society swiftly deviates towards the land of chaos and with a trajectory towards tyranny, a plight that is virtually irreversible.
Overzealous government officials are not only successfully rewriting history, but amending traditional belief systems which are templates for a productive civilization, in unleashing an Orwellian nightmare across the globe, and it is only a matter of time before everything sacred becomes politicized.
