In the unsettling aftermath of Biden’s State of the Union Address Tuesday night, a performance art experience saturated with bloviations, citizens enduring the entire insufferable on what could loosely be labeled a speech, were introduced the trending wrath of the environmental movement.
The career politician shared his designs in unveiling the full-force brunt of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a bevy of stifling legislation which was approved by a Democratic majority Congress in 2022, the toxicity of the various mandates, stipulations, and taxes as severely impactful as discarded Tesla batteries in a landfill that could be mistaken for the barren charms of a nuclear wasteland. Along with the IRA Biden has enacted the Defense Production Act (DPA) and the CHIPS and Science (CHIPS), an unrelenting “Hamilton” style trilogy of ideological theater popular only among radicals. Fortunately, the House is now a Republican majority, and while lawmakers in the legislative branch will not be able to inflict more procedural harm in the final two years of Biden’s term, the battle lines have been drawn that a significant amount of elected officials are attempting to force the nation on a trajectory synonymous with the ultra-liberal Northern European regimes, Australia, and New Zealand.
Blatantly plagiarizing rhetoric from extremist liberals, the President touted the IRA as an innovation rather than a pork-laden deterrent to the majority of Americans in the form of 754 pages outlining a threat to the economy, the supply chain, and the near future of free will. The White House officially defines one of the most ambiguous and restrictive bills in history in the only way a liberal can author an intellectually dishonest metaphor for the sake of misleading voters for the in achieving the ultimate goal of gaining a bureaucratic stranglehold on society.
“The Inflation Reduction Act will lower costs for families, combat the climate crisis, reduce the deficit, and finally ask the largest corporations to pay their fair share. President Biden and Congressional Democrats have worked together to deliver a historic legislative achievement that defeats special interests, delivers for American families, and grows the economy from the bottom up and middle out.”
With all the subtlety of a cryptocurrency cowboy and his cabinet targeting corporations and the use of fossil fuels critical for transportation purposes, the administration is going after big pharma by implementing fiscal sanctions and eventually founding a universal healthcare system on the level of Canada or the UK.
As public watchdogs know through the blatant example of the flawed model practiced by the United Nations outlining climate stewardship, the micromanagement of a complex system only leads to detriment. The axiom exemplified by Ardern’s cumbersome tenure in New Zealand resulting in a tax proposal on farm animal emissions, clearly states that overbearing government policies are more damaging to the environment and society than sensible solutions. The President is oblivious to reality, and his handlers are indifferent to common sense.
“The climate crisis doesn’t care if you’re in a red or blue state. It’s an existential threat,” Biden remarked during his speech. “We have an obligation not to ourselves but to our children and our grandchildren to confront it. I’m proud of how America at last is stepping up to the challenge.”
After a forgettable five decade tenure in gaining affluence on the tax-payer dime, Biden left the door slightly ajar for big oil as he admitted during his speech that fossil fuels are still vital in a gesture that guarantees the continued lining of his thick pocketbook. The irony of the despicable dynamic is not compelling, but an issue that Americans continually face from both sides of the aisle as votes and influence are bought and sold like Amazon gift cards.
While Biden has largely avoided the rollercoaster ride of the last two administrations restoring and trimming elements of the Environmental Protection Act, the IRA exists as a vast and monumental Rosetta stone of questionable scientific theory giving liberals a template for limiting basic rights and freedoms. As with his campaign to degrade the Second Amendment and avoid the checks and balances of government by militarizing federal agencies through various acts, the President is a figurehead for extremism.
