While the reality of time zones vaults the East coast into the natural position of trendsetter, Western lawmakers seem inclined to create a memorable stir by forcing what is construed by certain politicians as “innovative measures” into the Covid-19 response. Prompted by three decades of ugly policy proliferating from California, and the birth of the phrase, “What happens in California, doesn’t stay here” much to the chagrin of the Las Vegas gambling and tourist industry, Left coast Democratic aristocrats are doing their best to make things worse.
Noticeably suffering from some variance of an inferiority complex as a probable side-effect from being drunk with power, liberal politicians are finding new, enthralling, and insufferable ways to hamper their constituents through ceaseless bureaucracy in drawing out the coronavirus related shutdowns and restrictions for as long as possible. As the presence of unacceptable delays and detrimental logistical issues hamper vaccinations, leaving elderly Americans and those with underlying health conditions, the emphasis on finding novel ways to shackles small business through inconsistent policy is only reprehensible to those who cringe at the economics of big government.
The lineup of manifestos reads like an underwhelming fight card pitting pairs of pathological pacifists armed with pillows deep in the bowels of the octagon scented with sandalwood. Newsom employs his secret metrics, Brown discriminates against small college athletics, and Inslee, well Inslee supports mandates that are so predominately inconsistent, a mall can operate at limitless capacity during the Christmas shopping seasons, while the tenant merchants and restaurants must adhere to the strictest of capacity limitations in response to nonsensical measures.
An idiot savant at socialized economics, Inslee stands out amongst the trio at discovering creative procedures in continuously smothering business and individuals through a complex array of ridiculous, but damming policy, relentless and tedious propaganda, and recruiting the assistance of his voter base in shrilly parroting his self-aggrandizing orders and convoluted delusion of a people’s leader. As the actions of Pacific coast governor’s seemingly goes hand in hand, and the actions of one typically influence the other two, the blueprint of progressivism disturbingly finds the shortest route to reaching a national scale of idiocracy.
His latest plan for recovery titled “Healthy Washington” must have been drafted while daydreaming about NCAA basketball and March Madness. The dear leader of Washington effectively divided the state into eight “regions” where a combination of four metrics will be monitored to allow schools and business to begin opening up. Sources say Bill Walton has been hired by the state as the face for the new campaign, and to “soften” the blow of an entitled government functioning with the straightforward purpose of a Siafu ant colony.
For those who reserve faith for all facets of government, questions should begin to counteract unjustified and blind praise.
However, the presence of specified criterion makes it nearly impossible for groupings of counties to break the cypher-like code to normalcy. Far more troubling is that the outline of restrictions lists only two planned phases of stipulations, with the second listing 25% capacity limitations on workers in an office employment environment, retail locations, indoor dining, and movies and entertainment. Inexplicably, the virus has been personified throughout the broad and ambiguous lockdown contingency documentation, and prefers certain time frames over others in waging guerilla germ warfare tactics. Disconcertingly, this alliterative approach of binding residents through mundane and concise government speak, exemplifies a blueprint for blatant assault on freedoms now that the entire nation is susceptible to policy hijacking on a grand scale in the harrowing opening chapter of the Biden administration reinforced with a democratic majority in both the house and the senate.
As many times in life it is the things that go unsaid, or in this case deliberately omitted, are the phases of reopening that illustrate a near return to societal buoyancy. If this terrible experiment mapped the seeding for an NCAA Men’s basketball tournament bracket, Kansas would get a possible regional final in Kansas City, and Duke or North Carolina would enjoy a similar home court advantage in Charlotte.
Washington legislators on both sides of the aisle have mounted a staunch challenge to the governor’s serial abuse of his emergency powers, and two bills are currently being forwarded to legally nullify his authority, and prevent the economy and the business community from reaching a threshold of abyss, where nothing will ever be the same again in a state hindering the majority of entrepreneurs still operating under the premise and optimism of a free market.
Inslee’s gut-wrenching attempts at emulating a modern day FDR have thus far been shrouded in failure. The blabbering campy live streaming speeches under the incredulous pretense that he is anything more than the official head of the state government, and instructing and encouraging residents through sanctimonious diatribes in actually crushing the hopes of law-abiding citizens, only provides a temporary distraction for the empty promises and a smoke and mirrors game to snidely and ultimately recalibrate the power infrastructure. The now is simply the now, until forever is interjected into the framework to what is perceived as normal, and a new normal gestates.
While the predominant form of the contemporary vaccine is vacuous rhetoric mesmerizingly oozing from every bureaucratic pore of unconscionable bureaucratic puppets, and not a viable preventative remedy for the vulnerable elderly struggling to navigate a treacherous pathway to wellness, the healthy and the young are a scapegoat for the dumpster fire of leadership employed in mismanaging and politicizing a straightforward supply chain. As efficiency and reason cannot coexist with the layered onion entity of red tape, the only solution for a career politician is to coddle redundancy and serve the expanse of the system and deprioritize the needs of the constituent, leaving those on the outside exposed to the wrath of disorganization and fundamental chaos.
The dizzying blame game of ping pong is now in the critical third set, as it Trump’s fault, an issue in the new administration, or a supply chain error, or maybe a call center flaw. Inslee will never exercise accountability in pressing so hard to make history.
But hey, with thousands of established businesses about to go under in Washington alone, and high risk residents forced to engage in a digital game of chicken and scrapping for the sporadic first wave of Covid-19 vaccinations, it’s all good when the government is in the hands of individuals, who are above criticism simple because they have a “D” adjacent to their last name. What is commerce to Capitalism, when elected officials choose to print money, and force businesses to shutter?
