The White House on Friday slammed Iran’s attacks against U.S. partners in the Middle East, citing the regime’s behavior as “further proof” that President Trump made the right decision earlier this week to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran.
U.S. officials called-out Iran’s “reckless actions” throughout the Middle East; blasting Tehran for launching an unprovoked rocket attack against Israel and burning the American flag in their national Parliament.
According to Hannity.com:
Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders scolded the Islamic Republic’s outrageous behavior, saying “Already this week, the [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] has fired rockets at Israeli citizens, and Iran’s proxies in Yemen have launched a ballistic missile at Riyadh.”
In response, Israeli Defense Forces fired over 70 missiles into Syria; targeting Iranian military units and infrastructure throughout the country.
“These actions are further proof that the Iranian regime’s reckless actions pose a severe threat to regional peace and security. It is time for responsible nations to bring pressure on Iran to change this dangerous behavior,” added the Press Secretary.
Sanders went on to accuse Tehran of “destabilizing the Middle East … even as the Iranian people are victims of a struggling economy.”
